Laser engraving has been around for a few years. However, the quality of the laser engraving machines today makes it much simpler to learn and run than in the past. Also very little equipment is needed. Laser engraving has become extremely popular on materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, leather, glass and other synthetic materials. Now almost all material can be laser marked no matter if it is for personal or business purposes.
A laser beam which is controlled by a computer marks the surface or material where the engraving needs to be done. Laser engraving can be performed on a variety of substrates and with a better precision in comparison to
mechanical engravers which leave a rougher edge finish.
